Terms of Use

The terms under which you may read and use TechTutorZone tutorials, code samples and browser tools.

Last updated

By reading TechTutorZone or using its browser tools you agree to these terms. They are short because the site is simple: it publishes tutorials and runs a few tools in your browser, and nothing else.

Using the tutorials

You may read, print and link to any page. You may copy the code samples into your own projects, commercial or not, without attribution; the samples are published under the MIT licence. The prose, page design and site name remain the property of TechTutorZone; please do not republish whole articles elsewhere without asking.

No warranty

The tutorials and tools are provided "as is" for educational purposes. We test every sample before publishing and fix mistakes when they are reported, but browsers, tools and best practices change, and we cannot promise that any page is complete, current or error-free, or that it suits your particular situation. You are responsible for testing anything you build.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechTutorZone is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site, including lost data from running sample code or relying on a tool's output. The contrast checker and other tools are aids, not a substitute for testing with real users and assistive technology.

Browser tools

The tools run in your browser and do not transmit what you enter. Do not rely on them for anything safety-critical. Regular-expression testing in particular runs the pattern you type on your own machine; a pathological pattern can make your browser tab busy.

Links to other sites are provided for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Advertising

The site may show advertisements served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content, and advertisers have no influence over what the tutorials say. See the privacy policy for how advertising partners use cookies.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that affects other readers, or use it to distribute malware. That is all.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top is the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
